Cookie Policy & Consent
This page explains every cookie Aetherya sets, why it is set, and how long it lasts — and lets you accept or refuse the non-essential ones at any time.
1. Your Choices
Strictly necessary cookies are set because the Services cannot be delivered without them. Everything else — analytics and preference cookies — is set only after you consent, and you can withdraw that consent here at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.

Your choice is remembered in a cookie for six months, after which we ask again. Clearing your browser cookies also clears the record of your choice, and you will be asked once more on your next visit.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — can achieve the same result, and where they are not strictly necessary we treat them exactly like cookies for consent purposes. Under the ePrivacy rules and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, storing or reading anything on your device that is not strictly necessary requires your prior consent.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are set on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning service, and do not require consent. They carry no advertising identifiers and are never used to profile you.

aetherya_ph_attribution, aetherya_byb_partner_code, aetherya_agency_pilot_code | Signed, HttpOnly tokens that carry a campaign or partner access code you followed from a launch or partner link through sign-up, so the offer you were promised is honoured. They hold a campaign identifier and an expiry — no profile, no cross-site tracking, and they are cleared once the offer is claimed. | Up to 30 days, or until claimed |
4. Preference Cookies (Consent)
These remember choices you made about how the site looks, so you do not have to repeat them. If you allow the “Preferences” category they are kept for a year. If you do not, your choice still applies while you browse but is forgotten when you close the browser — a session-length interface preference you set yourself needs no consent; a year-long one does.

5. Analytics Cookies (Consent)
We use Matomo for website analytics. Matomo runs on our own instance, we do not share the data with advertising networks, and we do not sell it. Analytics cookies are set only if you allow the “Analytics” category above; if you refuse or withdraw consent, the tracker is never loaded and any analytics cookies already present are deleted.

Analytics is never loaded on the access-code claim pages, which carry one-time secrets and are kept as a first-party, analytics-free surface.
6. Advertising & Cross-Site Tracking
We do not set advertising cookies, we do not embed third-party advertising pixels, and we do not participate in cross-site behavioural advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising within the meaning of the CCPA/CPRA.
7. Global Privacy Control & Browser Controls
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends one, non-essential cookies are treated as refused without you having to do anything, and the consent banner is not shown. You can still opt in explicitly on this page.
- •Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies in its own settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and other core functions.

8. Changes & Contact
If we add a cookie or change what an existing one does, we update this page and — where the change concerns a non-essential cookie — ask for your consent again.
